Biography

Josephine E. Chang has over 10 years of experience in intellectual property law. She emphasizes in procuring patents in the United States as well as abroad. In addition to domestic and foreign patent prosecution, Ms. Chang procures and counsels clients with respect to trademarks and copyrights, and evaluates products and processes for patentability and infringement. She was named a "Southern California Rising Star" by Los Angeles Magazine in 2006 and 2007.

Ms. Chang has technical expertise in computer software, computer networking, and the Internet. She uses this background in preparing and prosecuting patent applications in the areas of business method technologies, telecommunications, consumer electronics, Web applications, interactive television applications, point-of-sale applications, computer forensic investigation tools, acoustic analysis software, plus other software and hardware technologies.
