Derek W. Yeung joined Christie, Parker & Hale in 2007. Prior to that time, Mr. Yeung was an intellectual property attorney with HRL Laboratories LLC. Mr. Yeung has a broad electrical engineering experience and works in various positions in different technology companies. His practice specializes in the areas of patent prosection of advance technologies.

Mr. Yeung has particular technical expertise in the fields of analog, digital and mixed-mode semiconductor devices, computer hardware and software design, digital systems, real-time systems, networking devices, telecommunication systems, and battery charging-monitoring devices. Areas of special expertise include advance microcontroller systems, real-time softwares, embedded controllers, printed circuit board technologies, and semiconductor layouts.
